Should I offer leasing?

Many businesses are missing out a huge opportunity for additional revenue and another weapon when looking to close a deal.

What is it? It's the power to offer potential customers a lease.

When customers are looking at making a large purchase, the initial outlay of cash may be cost prohibitive. But if your corporation can offer a business lease or equipment lease, then it may be easier for potential clients to purchase equipment or services for you. If they're purchasing a bunch of small items, bundle them together under one lease for a monthly payment that is affordable and easier on cash flow.

Also, leasing is a value-added service. You're saying to your customers that you recognize their fiscal situation and are doing your best to be accomodating. If your client wanted to lease a copier for example, you could make additional revenue off the lease. A percentage of the leasing service is often given back to the original vendor as payment for a referral.
